Site Update
28 May 2007I just added a new page to the website. It’s designed to explain paedophilia to younger people. Feel free to discuss it underneath this post.
Also, the first campaign should be posted within the next few days.

Well written, except, is it really necessary to use profanity in order to reach through to young people these days?

I’ve suggested a few tweaks.
Clayboy - I think that he should remove the asterisks. This is nfs, after all.
He could even go with “WTF is Paedophilia?”, “Paedophilia is NTF!”.

I’d suggest a change to a Creative Commons license myself, which should allow for a more clear definition of what we’d like fair use to be–but other than that the cursory look over I just did looks good! I agree with Daniel Lièvre though and recommend an adjustment to the text via acronyms. Everyone will know what you’re really saying but neither the words themselves or the self-censoring will detract from the actual message that way, because the mind turns a blind eye to the acronym.

I discovered this site just after the WfI fiasco on LJ. The whole thing has been terribly mismanaged by LJ and WfI have an appaling attitude towards the damage they have done and also refuse to acknowledge how little good it has realistically done. They have good intentions, but bad methods.
My main point however is that it is wonderful to find your site and find some genuine support for my problems. I have always been afraid of seeking out such support before, for fear of being branded a child molester (Which I am not, I have never harmed a child and I never will) by others, or in case I ran across genuine child pornography and other such things and was tempted by it.
Knowing there are others out there who feel the same why I do, but who have the integrity to know that it is wrong and the strength to keep from acting on it is a great load off my mind.

Yeah, there are a lot of people finding this site by Googling for information on WfI and LJ.
I was disturbed by the way that LJ excused their mass deletion by implying that paedophilia is “criminal activity” or inherently dangerous rather than just a sexual attraction.

Have you found BoyChat or GirlChat?
I think the majority of paedophiles refrain from molesting children, however a small minority cause problems for the majority of us (and also for children, of course).
